Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a tiny country filled with natural beauty. For under five-hundred dollars, you can purchase a round trip ticket from Los Angeles to Costa Rica and spend very little during your stay. There are many places offered to the public for free or little cost such as its beaches, rain forests, national parks, volcanoes, and wildlife.
Here you can find some of the most exotic plants and animals in the world. Volcan Arenal is the most spectacular volcano, of five active volcanoes in Costa Rica, with daily eruptions creating lava fireworks every night. This is worth seeing and free to the public. Just make sure to stay in a hotel near the area or make your way up to see for yourself.

Home to over ten-thousand plant and tree species and with over 60 national parks, there is much to observe and learn from nature. Enjoy the sounds of monkeys, birds, and frogs all at once. Take a walk through the rain forest and take pictures of the unique flowers or take lay out on the beach and feel the sun. Costa Rica offers a lot of activities to its tourists such as hiking, snorkeling, and kayaking. If you are looking for a place with a lot of outdoor activity and plenty of free things to do, then Costa Rica is the country for you.

THAILAND

Located in the center of Southeast Asia, Thailand is home to 64-million people, of which about 95% of its population is Buddhist. Buddhism plays a huge part in the lives of Thai people which can be seen through their beautiful monuments and temples such as the Wat Chaiwatthanaram, located in Ayutthaya or the Grand Palace in Bangkok.

Offering 32 Thailand Baht for every one U.S. dollar, Thailand is a wonderful country, full of Linkhistory and tradition, worth visiting. From its beautiful temples and arquitecture, to its exotic food, there is a bit of everything for everyone.

The Thai cuisine consists of five fundamental tastes: sweet, spicy, sour, bitter, and salty, with its everyday ingredients such as garlic, lime, lemon, chilies, and fish sauce.

But for those who want more than just exploring new dishes and want some action while they travel, then Muay Thai, or better known as Thai boxing, will do the fix. After all, Thai boxing is the national sport in this country.

ARGENTINA

Known for its wine and steaks, Argentina is the second largest country in South America. With its Andes mountain range in the west and the Atlantic Ocean in the east, this Spanish speaking country has plenty to offer its tourists.

With the dollar, almost four times stronger than the Argentine peso, visitors can enjoy themselves in the second largest metropolitan city in South America, Buenos Aires, without breaking their bank.

Buenos Aires is also the capital of Argentina and home to over one-third of the Argentine population. This city offers a variety of activities and many great site-seeing, such as the Recoleta Cemetery, which is considered to be one the greatest cemeteries of the world. If you enjoy shopping, then take a stroll down Calle Florida, and if you are a soccer fan, then attending a game of Club Atletico Boca Juniors, is a must. There are also plenty of art museums to visit and in the afternoon, go out and attend a Tango show.

But the big city life may not be for everyone. If your looking for a place to explore and enjoy of nature’s company, then Argentina has much for you to choose from. From its expansive deserts, to jaw-drooping waterfalls, to tropical rain-forests, to mountains and beaches, there is something for every explorer.
