HUNGARY

As an American with the U.S. dollar, visiting Europe can be expensive if traveling to a country that has the Euro. But Americans can still explore Europe without spending all their savings. Hungary, located in Central Europe, has much to offer its tourists for a small cost while spending Hungary Forints instead of Euros. Here is a list of five things to do and see while in Hungary.
  • Visit the Fishermen’s Bastion in Budapest. This building looks medieval but it was actually built in 1902.
  • Spend a day at car-free Margaret Island while enjoying several outdoor activities such as swimming and open air theatre.
  • Go horse riding on the Great Plain and enjoy its famous farms and horse shows.

There are many other activities and sight-seeing locations while visiting Hungary. All these activities will not leave you penniless, specially since visitors will not be using the Euro. So come and explore Hungary without breaking your bank.
